BC Ecoforestry
- Silva Forest Foundation
Works with communities to develop ecosystem-based plans that maintain the
forest, the community, and the economy. Provides education and training
in ecosystem-based planning and ecologically responsible forestry. Works
as an accredited certifier under the Forest Stewardship Council. CES greatly
appreciates Silva Forest Foundation's work, which was instrumental in creating
our vision.

Communities Partnership
A collaborative business network of wood product manufacturers, forest
managers, community organizations and commercial outlets. It's roots
are in six rural communities of the Pacific Northwest. The Partnership's
commitment is to restore forest ecosystems and spawn rural economic
vitality by growing wood product-related businesses.
- Institute for Sustainable Forestry
A community-based organization founded in 1991 by loggers, tree-planters,
educators, watershed restorationists, engineers, geologists, foresters,
business and conservation managers, veterans, woodworkers and environmentalists.
ISF serves local rural communities and works in collaboration with many
other non-profits and agencies to facilitate community redevelopment
strategies and the transition to sustainable forestry in the Pacific
Northwest.

Organizations within the BCE Network advocate for environmental responsibility
and community participation in activities leading to ecological sustainability.
CES is a member of their Forest Caucus
- Forest Action Network
A grassroots organization with a network of over 500 forest activists
and twenty-two organizations throughout British Columbia, North America
and Europe. FAN is committed to seeking an end to industrial forestry
and replacing it with ecologically-sound, First Nations and community-controlled
ecoforestry.

The Canadian Eco-Lumber Co-op offers sustainable solutions to your building
needs. They carry only eco-certified wood products that are independently
eco-certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), or are reclaimed
